So I just had to get this killer package of vinyl and cd's from the Numero Group for Christmas, a delve into one of funk's lesser known characters who has been sampled by many in the Hip Hop scene most notably 'Different Strokes', 'Concrete Reservation' and 'Is It cause I'm Black'. Some killer rock-a-billy/funk stuff unearthed, rusty soul and straight up belting funk. I selected my faves from the comp and have included some faves that where not present. Loving it.
